2017 Behrens Family 'Labor of Love' Cabernet Franc, Pritchard Hill

Martinez Vineyard – How do we love thee? We love this stellar Pritchard Hill Vineyard in too many ways to count! We love it for its dramatic beauty, its particularly unique volcanic soils, its lovable owners and stellar vineyard manager, but mostly we love it for this Cabernet Franc-based wine. Aromatic notes of violets, spiced plums and white pepper abound, while the texture is plush and rich with impressive balance. Flavors of cassis, cola, cedar and white pepper carry right on through the lengthy finish. Antonio Galloni called it stunning. We love that, too.
