Pierre Seillan is the genius winemaker behind Verite, a wine produced in Sonoma that is quickly becoming the most highly rated wine in the world with 13 100-points scores since 2000!! Everything Pierre Seillan touches turns to gold and the Anakota project in Knights Valley is no exception with its 97-point score from Robert Parker!.
The story of Anakota begins deep in the heart of Knights Valley in rural Sonoma County. Located in an ancient volcanic zone, this relatively untouched and unknown place offers incredibly unique and diverse soils with a climate perfectly suited to Bordeaux varietals. Sourced from estate-owned vineyards, Anakota is a collection of single vineyard, single varietal, Knights Valley appellation wines that personify the rustic elegance and spirit of rural Sonoma County. Rising more than 4,000 feet above sea level, Mount St. Helena looks down on our two prized estate-owned vineyards Helena Dakota and Helena Montana, which are quietly situated on the rugged flanks of the Mayacamas Mountain Range.
This wine sells out every year so don’t delay, grab some now!!

Very deep purple-black in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Dakota Vineyard has a compelling savoriness of char-grilled meat and roasted nuts on the nose with a core of crème de cassis, violets and crushed plums plus a touch of garrigue. Medium-bodied and tautly structured with firm, fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, it has incredible depth of primary fruit and earthy layers, finishing with incredible length and a lovely mineral hint. 432 cases produced
